Start here, then work through the sets

The vocabulary questions of UKiset 16+ verbal reasoning (sixth-form entry), practised in a real test environment: the same screen, the same four question types and one question at a time. All 360 practice words are drawn from past 16+ (Year 12 entry) tests, with a focus on high-frequency words: more than 160 of them appeared in two or more different papers.

• MethodHow the questions work in the real test, a four-step method and the common traps.
• Explained questionsAfter every answer you see straight away whether you are right, why, an example sentence and the method.
• Practice Sets 1–1230 questions each. Get one right and you move straight on; get one wrong and you see the correct answer and an explanation at once. The question numbers let you go back to any question. The sets unlock one at a time: finish a set and the next one opens, so you can tick them off like a daily check-in.

Work through the sets in order and aim for about 20 seconds a question, as in the real test. Revise the words you miss after each set – a short, focused plan for quick score gains.
