Why this course

Everything needed to raise your non-verbal reasoning score in the ISEB Common Pre-Test

Non-verbal reasoning rewards method more than knowledge. Once a pupil knows exactly what to look for, questions that once felt like puzzles become quick, reliable marks – and that is what this course trains.

  • Every question typeEvery question type in the real ISEB Common Pre-Test non-verbal reasoning section is taught and practised, so nothing on the day comes as a surprise.
  • Real-exam difficultyQuestions are pitched at the level of the real test, so results in practice are a fair guide to the score on the day.
  • Real test environmentThe same screen layout, one question at a time and real-test timing, so the format feels familiar before the test.
  • Method before practiceEach question type starts with short method slides and fully explained questions, so pupils learn how to answer before they practise.
  • Instant explanationsA wrong answer shows the correct answer and a step-by-step explanation straight away, so mistakes are fixed while they are fresh.
  • A daily check-in routinePractice sets unlock one at a time as each one is finished, giving a clear routine and progress you can see.

Choose a topic

Non-verbal reasoning training for the ISEB Common Pre-Test, organised by question type. Provide targeted explanations and guidance for each question type. Every topic has two levels of practice – Standard and Higher Level:

  • MethodThe key slides from your lesson.
  • Explained questionsAfter every answer you see straight away whether you are right, with a full explanation and diagram.
  • Practice set (Standard)30 questions of the same type. Get one right and you move straight on; get one wrong and you see the correct answer and the explanation at once. At the end you can review every question with its explanation.
  • Higher LevelHarder questions of the same type, with their own method slides, explained questions and a 30-question practice set. The Higher Level practice set unlocks once you have finished the Standard practice set of the same topic.

There are no time limits. In every practice set and Challenge Paper the question numbers at the bottom let you go back to any question (green = right, red = wrong). Finish with the two Challenge Papers – the Higher Level paper unlocks when you have finished the first one. Every set you finish is ticked off on this page (✓ Done), like a check-in list.
